At the summer 2008 board meeting we discussed trying out another discussion board to further communication in the District. This one on Google seems safe from the spam I had to deal with on the previous bulletin board. It is by invitation only to avoid spam. So, email me on the above form and I will add you to the list.   This will allow members to discuss Yankee District events, announce programs in local societies, ask for help with rose growing problems, discuss rose culture (including hybridization, history, photography, etc.), announce interesting rose related sales and notify other members of relevant Yankee District news including member illnesses or deaths. Photos can also be posted.  You have the choice of getting emails individually from the board, or combined together in a digest the next day as 1 email.  We have something similar in Rhode Island and find it useful and fun.
